TERMS AND CONDITIONS  

By participating in the ‘2023 Hays Asia Salary Guide Survey’ Giveaway (the “Giveaway”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Giveaway T&Cs”) together with any specific instructions and terms for such Giveaway which may be mentioned on the relevant section of the website (the “Giveaway information”).

Hays China may cancel or amend the Giveaway, Giveaway information, or these Giveaway T&Cs without prior notice. Any changes will be posted either within the Giveaway information or these Giveaway T&Cs.

ELIGIBILITY 

Eligibility restrictions apply to this Giveaway. The Giveaway is open to all China candidates and clients. Proof of email address may be required.

Employees of Hays China or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the Giveaway shall not be permitted to enter.

By entering the Giveaway you warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current, and complete.

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

GIVEAWAY INFORMATION AND WINNER SELECTION PROCESS 

The China candidates and clients could join “2023 Hays Asia Salary Guide Survey” from all Hays official channels such as WeChat, LinkedIn and email, for people who successfully completed the survey on 8th, 88th, 888th, 1888th , 2888th (total 5 people collected from all channels) will receive a RMB200 e-gift card. If the total actual winners are less than 5, Hays China will give away the gifts according to the actual number.

Participating in survey is free but entrants should be aware that they may be subject to data charges depending on their Internet access plan.

In order to join the survey, entrants are required to follow the instructions on the website as indicated in the Giveaway information.

The survey is opened from now on and will be closed on Friday, 30th September, 2022. No further entries will be accepted outside the specified time.

Hays China has no liability or responsibility for entries not received for whatever reason, including but not limited to for entries lost, delayed or corrupted, or due to computer error in transit.

Only one entry permitted per person.

The winner will be announced within 10 working days after survey closed on www.hays-china.cn, and he/she will be notified by email for the result. The decision of Hays China is final. The winner’s email will be announced on the website by Hays China, once the prize has been claimed. By entering this Giveaway, you consent to the use of your name in announcements should yours be the winning entry.

PRIZE 

The prize is 200RMB e-gift card for people who completed the survey on 8th, 88th, 888th , 1888th ,2888th (total 5 awards) from all channels

Winner is responsible for any applicable taxes. Odds of winning are dependent on the number of entries received.

No cash alternative to the prize will be offered. The prize is non-refundable and non-transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without notice.

Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner via email. If the winner cannot be contacted within 5 days, or is unable to comply with these Giveaway T&Cs, Hays China reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant at random. In order to receive their prize, the winner is required to provide Hays China with their full name, phone number and mailing address.

Hays China reserves the right in its sole discretion to withhold delivery of the prize until proof of eligibility and/or identity requested by Hays China has been confirmed or if such proof is not produced on request or to disqualify the entrant from the Giveaway.

 

PUBLICITY
 

Unless prohibited by law, the winner agrees to participate in reasonable publicity relating to this Giveaway, including but not limited to having their name and photograph used for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice or without any fee being paid to winner. Unless prohibited by law, the winner will be required to execute a publicity release.

 

GENERAL 
 

The Winner list will be available on www.hays-china.cn Website.

Any entrant who enters or attempts to enter the Giveaway in a manner, which in Hays China’s determination, is contrary to these Giveaway T&Cs or is fraudulent or unjust to other entrants (including without limitation tampering with the operation of the Giveaway, hacking, cheating, deception, or any other unfair playing practices such as intending to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other entrants or Hays China and/or any of its agents or representatives), maybe withdrawn from the Giveaway by Hays China at its’ sole discretion. Automated entries are prohibited and will be disqualified from the Giveaway.

Hays China does not warrant that the services relating to the Giveaway will be free from errors or omissions or that they will be available uninterrupted and in a fully operational condition. Hays China reserves the right to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the Giveaway in whole, at its sole discretion, if it believes the Giveaway is not capable of being conducted as specified in these Giveaway T&Cs or in the event of system failure, maintenance or repair, network issue, hacking, security breaches or other tampering, a virus, computer bug or unauthorized human intervention or any other cause that is beyond the reasonable control of Hays China that could corrupt or affect the administration, security, impartiality, or normal course of the Giveaway, including, but not limited to the unavailability of the Giveaway or prize draw entry platform before the closing date, or for strike, lock-out, labor dispute, illness, act of God, natural disaster, adverse weather conditions, war, riot, civil commotion, accident, epidemic or pandemic, malicious damage, fire, flood and/or storm, compliance with law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, breakdown of plant, machinery or transportation. Hays China is not responsible for any loss or damage caused to you as a result of any of these occurrences.

Hays China cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering the Giveaway or as a result of accepting any prize. Hays China is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, telephone lines or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer or mobile telephone related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in the Giveaway.

You agree to reimburse Hays China in respect of any damages suffered by Hays China or any losses by Hays China resulting from any claim made by a third party in each case in respect of any matter arising from your use of the services relating to the Giveaway in breach of the Giveaway T&Cs or from your violating of any applicable law or regulation.

The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Giveaway T&Cs shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Giveaway T&Cs shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.

The Giveaway and these Giveaway T&Cs will be governed by China Anti Unfair Competition Law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Shanghai, China.
