Your new role
The Business Development Manager – W&C is responsible for the development of client relationships at targeted W&C manufactures and OEMs, with the aim of accelerating approvals and specifications in order to win applications on future wire and cable programs, such as EV Cable, Auto Cable industries.
What you'll need to succeed
- Develop and maintain relationships at the working procurement level.
- Develop and maintain relationships at the senior procurement level.
- Utilize procurement contacts to build relationships at the senior engineering level.
- Be awarded the right to participate on directed buy resin programs.
- Working through the OEM procurement contacts, identify and position for success on “build to print” opportunities and at “shoot and ship” molder customers.
- Enable new specification approvals, in conjunction with application engineers.
- Collaborate with Key Account Managers to ensure alignment with OEM/major Tier 1s, supply chain support of initiatives and to ensure receptive manufacturing base to OEM initiatives.
- Develop new molder customers as needed.
- Provide sales coverage at specific Tier 1 and Tier 2 accounts as needed.
- Provide intelligence with respect to gaps within the overall offering relative to the competition and to automotive material needs.
