Your new role :
Organizing technical visiting schedule and meeting with customers and translation in the meeting if needed.
Analyzing data and keep updating customers information in equipment, production, expansion etc.
Frequent interaction with steel mills, relevant Universities and Research Institutes in line with company’s market strategy to meet tonnage, revenue.
Updating Vale product information to clients and understand client production information, developing new clients if necessary.
Ensuring key relationships at all levels in PR China iron and steel industry are being developed and maximizing and optimizing company’s all products performance by establishing TCA.
Assisting with special projects, e.g., asset logistics, customer strategic ventures, coal business, ferrous alloy etc. in PR China.
Develop and maintain relationships with inspection companies in China, including private ones and CIQ, for monitoring discharging conditions of company’s products at Chinese ports.
Manage customer complaints registers and feedback for Chinese customers.
Providing internal feedback to company based on product performance and clients’ requirements, assisting the designing of the company’s product portfolio.
Tracking technology trends, client’s operational performance, product operational performance and competitiveness in company’s clients, as well as incorporating requirements from clients.
Monitoring iron ore performance from competitors, strengthen company’s products competitiveness in Chinese market.
Investigating client’s satisfaction on product quality, performance, and technical assistance.
Organizing bi-annual technical conference between the company and China Steel Mills
Follow up of trial cargoes for new products and feedback of trial results to relevant departments of the company.
Manage sample delivery between Chinese customers and the home country of the company.
Support the implementation of the company’s initiatives for De-Carbonization, promoting the engagement with strategic partners (Clients, Universities, etc.)
What you’ll need to succeed
At least 8 years for Master position including:
Experience Technical Marketing activities in China
Knowledge of Iron ore business in China
Field experience in Ironmaking operations at blast furnace and/or sintering plant/pelletizing plant
Strong academic background in Metallurgical or Materials or Chemical Engineering (desirable Master
degree and above)
Native speaker of Mandarin and Fluent in English (mandatory)
Strong interpersonal skills
Availability for frequent travels within China
