Our client is a Chinese pharmaceutical company that mainly engages in the research, development, production and sales of biotechnology, chemical synthesis and traditional Chinese medicine extraction.

Your new role

As an oversea strategy head, you are expected to plan and implement strategies for expanding a business or organization to new markets and regions and develop and execute a global strategy that aligns with the vision, mission, and goals of the organization.

Meanwhile ,you will conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and challenges in different regions and countries,establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, customers, and suppliers in the target markets.

In addition, you will also manage and oversee the operations, finances, legal, compliance, and risk aspects of the international expansion, lead and support cross-functional teams and projects across different locations and cultures.

Moreover, communicating effectively with internal and external audiences on the progress, results, and learnings of the international expansion, as well as having a strong knowledge of the industry trends, best practices, and regulations in the global context are also expected to become your responsibilities.

What you'll need to succeed

• A bachelor’s degree in a field such as business administration, economics, statistics, a master’s degree or a PhD in a relevant field would be preferred.
• Several years of experience in strategic planning, business development, or management consulting, preferably in an international context.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to think strategically and holistically.
• Knowledge of global markets and trends.
