Your new role

As a legal director, you are expected to oversee the legal aspects of the company’s transactions and operations, responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and providing legal advice and guidance to the management and investment teams.

Meanwhile, you will support the deal origination, due diligence, negotiation, execution, and exit processes by providing legal expertise and solutions.

In addition, you will also develop and implement legal policies, procedures, and best practices to mitigate legal risks and ensure operational efficiency.

Moreover, building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, such as investors, regulators, industry associations, and portfolio companies are also expected to become your responsibilities.

What you'll need to succeed

• Master’s degree or higher in law from a reputable university.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in private equity, venture capital, corporate law, or M&A law.
• Qualified to practice law in one or more jurisdictions.
• Strong knowledge of the PE VC industry and its legal frameworks.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
