Key Account Manager Role in the Chemical Industry

Your new role

This role is mainly for execution of a business plan and monthly sales plans; KAM for key products; executing the sales strategy in the region; establishing fruitful cooperation with customers in the region. To be specific:

1) Maintain and develop new customers in China and the SEA area.

2) Manage existing customers in the assigned area - Identify and anticipate any issues the customer is facing which can impact the relationship with the company, then do more co-value projects with customers to improve the customer experience.

- Monitor and minimise accounts receivable.

- Take a proactive role in working with our customers, operations, and management to maximise the profitability of the company.

3) Participate in the development of new business in the assigned area in cooperation.

- Identify and/or generate business opportunities in the assigned area, establish and develop contact with potential customers and other local players for the project.

  • Executing sales plan in the region
  • Support project sales activities (such as the GTM project)
  • Maintaining current and finding new sales opportunities and clients
  • Cooperation with production and logistics teams to ensure smooth product flow and contract execution
  • Participate in special conferences and trade fairs and events

What you'll need to succeed

  • Technical or economic degree (Master's at least)
  • Good knowledge of chemistry is an advantage.
  • 5+ years in sales
  • Experience in sales of petrochemicals is a plus.
  • Customer-oriented thinking, open-minded
  • Team player
  • Languages: Chinese, English
