Key Account Manager-Auto OEM

A Key Account Manager for Auto OEM based in Shanghai

Your new role

- To maintain relationships with our current OEM customers and establish new connections with other different kinds of customers.

- In charge of OEM customer’s sales and service activities.

- Develop new projects with existing OEM customers and develop new OEM customers in the future.

- Makes business breakthroughs for critical or strategic customers. Win a new /critical platform product for strategic customers which has significant impact on the overall business from a volume or margin perspective. Achieve new product milestones by awarding business from strategic customers.

- Maintain good customer relationships, recover, and develop frequent and regular contacts with multiple customer functions, (e.g., purchasing, quality, and engineering), including escalation management, to achieve the desired level of customer satisfaction.

- Lead the cross-functional team inside, and organise necessary resources to meet customer’s requirement, and solve problems to exceed customer’s expectations on time.

- Influences customer’s technology choice to align with our technology roadmap. Technical and sourcing decision of customers are made and influenced by local locals in China.

- Lead commercial negotiation.

- Achieve annual sales objectives.

- Other tasks arranged by the manager.

- Working conditions: Requires 50% travel.

What you'll need to succeed

- BA degree, MBA, or master’s is preferred.

- 5-7 years Sales & Marketing experience.

- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.

- Team working spirit.

- Independent Decision-Making skill.

- Good negotiation and influence skills.

- Assertive and energetic, able to work under pressure, willing to take challenges.

- Computer competence, financial savvy, country language fluency and English language fluency required.
