Your new role

The Head of Infrastructure and Appliances APAC is responsible for leading and managing the local IT Operations IT teams in all APAC countries.

The scope of these teams includes workplace, network, data center service, cloud operation, voice communication, technical IT security and local site support in the APAC region. He/she will be the voice of the customer for APAC countries towards the central IT-O org and support the delivery of global services in the region.

The Head of Infrastructure and Appliances APAC will also be responsible for local for local services. At the same time, this person will communicate and collaborate with the Heads of IT in the APAC countries to achieve our global KPIs together. This team supports all infrastructure related projects for the APAC region together with central IT team. The position reports to the Local Head of IT / RIO APAC with functional guidance from the Head of IT and coordinates all regional activities and initiatives with the corporate IT.

He/she will also have a seat in the extended management team of the central IT-O Head. Primary duties and responsibilities

A) Support to make Strategic Planning / Budgeting at all countries in APAC

Evaluate multiple IT infrastructure services in alignment with the central IT-O teams to meet business operation requirements and corporate policies. Keep improving IT infrastructure and importing new IT infrastructure services / technologies with given IT KPI. Design IT policies to ensure sufficient data protection and security.

Provide required next FY budgets information to Country IT Department

B) Project Management

Manage several IT infrastructure projects at once and adapt to changing needs. Work with central IT to roll out enterprise level projects. Plan and manage IT projects of new business function fulfilment, office movements / expansions and others. Involvement in Global / Central IT projects especially in infrastructure area.

C) People Management

Effectively manage and develop IT employees to maximize their productivity and potential. Monitor and manage daily IT tasks based on reasonable resource allocation. Supervise and direct part time consultants to support IT operation in different site offices. vSupport and define the target, assess the target for the local member in Greater China aligned with the functional reporting line manager (matrix).

D) Infrastructure Management

1) Network : Change management, technical demand request,implementation, assigned operation,

2) Workplace management : end user device management, server, cloud, datacenter management

3) Communication : Teams HW and application management, local voice solution, CIC solution

4) Local service desk, local site support : Support process governance, monitor give target KPI Detail task
