Your new role

As the international business grows rapidly, they are looking for a Commodity Trader to contribute to their growing business.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the head of Coal Trading and Origination – China to firstly develop coking coal and coke trading/marketing efforts/activities to identify long term trading partners, assist, identify opportunities to supply coking coal/coke to creditworthy, compliance-approved domestic buyers including end users. You will explore opportunities to trade domestic /coking coal/coke in RMB, originating trade financing deals with coal washing plants and coking plants, you will provide timely commercial information/analysis to assist the Company in the formulation and support of its China/global trading activities. You will also attend the industry meetings on behalf of the company.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered, you will have good commercial sense and business acumen with a minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in coal-coking/trading capacity, you will be highly preferred if you have experience in dealing with iron ore and steel products, derivatives trading of coking coal/coke and iron ore and steel products.
