My client is a large foreign-funded fund with a wide range of product designs: Hydromantic, pump etc. The richness and systematical of its products are widely used in various industrial fields, such as construction machinery, machine tools, new energy system.

Your new role

  1. Implements the global strategy and adapts the strategy for China
  2. Ensures achievement of defined financial targets in the China Market
  3. Support sales team to achieve defined targets by working closely with sales management
  4. Drives Marketing & Sales campaigns for products and solutions
  5. Drives product innovation, is responsible for the roll-out of product innovation in China and acts as sparring partner for HQ
  6. Improves the footprint of China (Internet, software applications e.g., web-shop, tradeshows, white-papers, speeches etc.)
  7. It is measured by the target achievement of the regional region in terms of sales and profit/loss (P&L)
  8. Coordination of Competence management within China
  9. Provides guidance and advice within the executive leadership staff towards successful business performance
  10. Ensures that the area of responsibility is properly organised, staffed, skilled and directed
  11. Guides, motivates, and develops direct and indirect subordinates.

What you'll need to succeed

1. Education background:

  1. University degree

2. Working experience:

  1. 10+ years of leadership experience in relevant industries
  2. Profound knowledge of industries, markets, competition, and trends
  3. Understands how to position resources for most effective market penetration
  4. Able to build up markets and grow market share. Excellent at building partnerships and finding synergies to ensure achievement of strategic goals
  5. Deep knowledge in the areas of strategy, planning, product management, vertical markets

3. Language and computer skills:

  1. Native Chinese speaker, fluent in English

4. Personality:

  1. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  2. Strong international and intercultural communicator in verbal and written format
  3. Strategic thinker
  4. Strong leader who can create ambitious goals and motivate a team to follow and to commit
  5. Winning personality with the ability to convince others and to solve conflicts
