Water Application Manager

A company specializing in automotive is looking for a Water Application Manager.
Your new company
My client is a multinational corporation produce specialty chemicals, with more than 6-7 countries in Asia and 3+ plants in China, Japan and South Asia. It is a leading global producer of specialty chemicals, including the pulp, paper, oil and gas, chemical processing, mining, biorefining, power and municipal markets.

Your new role
To be responsible for the safety and management of water application lab, and to organize team to deliver timely and accurate result to water-intensive customers.

Your major responsibility
  1. To improve and expand water application lab platform for new water-intensive market and new industry process.
  2. To coach and develop team staff for technique and skills improvement.
  3. To establish the capacity of microbiology application evaluation in Shanghai technical center lab.
  4. To cooperate with commercial team tightly for work request prioritizing, source allocation, report interpretation and customer visit.

Successful profile
  1. Master or Above, relevant water treatment experience or technique background for 10 years or above, 3 years above on management experience.
  2. Have a strong knowledge and experience of water treatment, such as cooling, boiler, process or RO system.
  3. Solid knowledge and experience of microbiology control in water-intensive industry will be a plus.
  4. Be good at problem analyzing and process development.
  5. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Fluent at verbal and written English.
