This is a position to recruit for ARM with the HQ based at Cambridge UK which architect, develop, and license high-performance, low-cost, and energy-efficient CPU products and related technology, on which many of the world's leading semiconductor companies and OEMs rely to develop their products.
The Senior Account Manager is a sales role responsible for proactively growing the funnel of potential emerging partners, developing the activities, strategy and relationships driving product/solution adoption and Partner success. Key responsibilities include developing professional long-term relationships with executive management as well as technical and marketing personnel at the Partner, crafting and reliably driving innovative account strategies. The ability to listen, build trust, and pursue innovative ideas that will best serve each emerging Partner, while finding ways for the Company to add more value to serve their interests. With clear goals and objectives, this person will be working as part of the China Sales Team. Working in a flexible manner with the Company’s Lines of Business, Licencing, Finance and Legal teams, it is fundamental to have an in-depth understanding of the technology/business/ecosystem landscape in China and be able to translate that knowledge into practical business plans and revenue that are aligned with corporate strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
1. Market Expansion:
- Develop and implement a strategic business plan to expand market presence in China.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and alliances aligned with the Company's business objectives for China market.
2. Client Engagement and Sales Leadership
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders in the Chinese market.
- Understand customer needs and collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet client requirements.
- Driving revenue growth, setting and achieving high-reaching sales targets.
3. Ecosystem Development:
- Collaborate with the ecosystem team to build and strengthen the ecosystem in China.
- Identify and engage with key ecosystem partners, including technology providers, startups, and industry influencers.
4. Market Analysis:
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape in the Chinese technology sector.
- Provide regular market analysis reports to leadership, offering insights for strategic decision-making.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Sales, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in sales/BD, or related roles within the technology industry.
- In-depth knowledge of the Chinese technology market and business landscape, especially in Mobile Platform, PC and Automotive.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of driving successful business expansion.
- A strong customer manager, able to influence and impact for the good of partners and business.
- A strong ‘upward’ manager comfortable operating at VP and Executive level.
- An excellent teammate able to optimize all resources; technical commercial, marketing to achieve the best outcome for the customer and the Company.
- Confident self-starter that instinctively knows where to spend their time to improve business.
- Proficient Chinese and English skills required and ability to travel out of region from time to time.
