A well-known company which manufactures, develops, and sells high-tech and high-performance motor oils, engine lubricants and industrial lubricants for automobiles, motorcycles, and other motor vehicles.
Your new role
- Manage local sales teams and distributors/resellers in the sales territory or geography.
- The role is accountable for delivery of the sales strategy and is responsible for delivery of financial performance targets including sales gross, gross margin and overdue.
- Finding prospect partners, coaching distributors, and monitoring their financial position to ensure long term sustainable value for the company.
1. Implement a business strategy within space by translating it into clear business plans.
2. Deliver financial performance targets for territory including Volume, GM and Overdue.
3. Influence, coach and motivate sales teams by targeting standardised execution of customer offers and programs.
4. Input and influence people resource allocations to ensure strategic priorities are fulfilled within the territory.
5. Develop, propose, and implement the annual business plan.
6. Collect results from the execution of the customers within the space, analyse the planning, and run (minutes) quarterly reviews to undertake corrective actions if necessary.
7. Share field findings and experience at team level, extracting comparable information.
8. Develop and implement a systematic approach and ensure appropriate risk reviews are undertaken appropriately.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor’s degree in sales / business management.
Minimum 8–10 years working experience in an MNC company, with over 5 years of team management experience in the lubricant industry.
The ability to develop and implement strategic and tactical business plans.
The ability to be hands-on and drive the business with direct responsibility.
Flexibility of thought and action to be able to respond to changing market environments and dynamic business situations.
Lubricant’s experience in sales with insight into marketing.
Experience/track record/confidence representing the company externally and dealing professionally with customers.
