Your New Role
As a Labour Law Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with labour regulations and supporting HR teams with expert legal advice. This role involves drafting policies, resolving labour disputes, and providing strategic guidance on employment matters.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor and interpret labour laws, regulations, and updates, ensuring company policies remain compliant.
• Draft, review, and optimise internal labour policies and procedures to align with legal requirements and business needs.
• Advise HR teams on complex employment issues, including contracts, terminations, and dispute resolutions.
• Handle and resolve labour disputes and manage relationships with external legal counsel as needed.
• Support training initiatives to educate management and employees on labour law compliance and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks and ensure alignment with legal standards.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, with at least 5 years of experience specialising in labour law.
• Solid knowledge of China’s labour laws, employment regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to handle employment-related disputes and negotiations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Fluency in Mandarin; proficiency in English is a plus.
• Previous experience working in technology, e-commerce, or innovative industries is highly desirable.
