Our client is a Chinese pharmaceutical company, founded in 1993, with its headquarters in Shanghai. The company mainly engages in the research, development, production and sales of biotechnology, chemical drugs and traditional Chinese medicine, and has several GMP-certified production bases and research centers in the country.

Your new role

As a GA Director, you are expected to manage the relationships between a private company and government authorities, ensure that the company’s interests are represented and protected in the public policy arena.

Meanwhile, you will d evelop and implement strategies to influence legislation and regulation that affect the company’s business operations.

In addition ,you will also monitor and analyze current and proposed laws, policies, and trends to assess their impact on the company.

Moreover, coordinating with other departments within the company to communicate relevant issues and align advocacy efforts, as well as building and maintaining relationships with legislators, regulators, and other government officials to advocate for the company’s position on specific issues are also expected to become your responsibilities.

What you'll need to succeed

• A bachelor’s degree in public policy, public administration.
• Several years of experience in government relations, lobbying, public affairs, or a similar field.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of the legislative and regulatory processes at various levels of government.
• Leadership and management skills.
