Your new role
Regulatory cybersecurity compliance is an essential and evolving sector. The space is increasingly complex, with many differing opinions on what should be done and how. Many of the cybersecurity codes, standards, and regulations used in the automotive industry are new and not well defined/still being refined/still evolving.
The role requires security expertise with additional background in government regulations. Experience with the automotive industry or standards is not a requirement.
What you'll need to succeed
>5 years’ experience in an engineering regulatory compliance role and cybersecurity
Familiarity with security standards and regulations such as ISO 27001/27002, SOC2, GBT 40855-2021, GBT 40856-2021, GBT 40857-2021, and ISO 21434.
Familiarity with risk management and risk management frameworks such as the NIST RMF
Ability to navigate/interpret ambiguity of standards
Demonstrated experience taking products through the certification process
Deep knowledge of cybersecurity principles and their application
