Compliance Counsel
A company specialising in the semiconductor industry is looking for compliance counsel.
Your New Company
This is a semiconductor equipment manufacturer with a high reputation in China. They provide an innovative and supportive working environment and actively encourage career development. Due to the company's growth and future expansion, they are looking for compliance counsel.
Your New Role
Monitoring: Track and explain compliance updates to local stakeholders.
Due Diligence and Risk Management: Conduct third-party due diligence, focusing on anti-bribery, corruption, and export control.
Incident Management and Investigations: Handle compliance incidents and provide legal advice.
Compliance Training: Conduct training sessions and promote an ethical culture.
Program Implementation and Document Management: Implement compliance programs and manage legal documents.
Legal Project Support: Participate in legal projects and support the compliance department.
What you'll need to succeed
Law degree from a reputable law school; preference for overseas degrees.
5–7 years in a top law firm or MNC legal department.
Licenced to practice law in China; preference for common law jurisdiction qualifications.
Excellent bilingual communication skills in Chinese and English.
Diligent, proactive, eager to learn, detail-oriented, and well-organised.
Strong team player, capable of collaborating with local and global teams.
