Business Development Manager – Plastic Compounder

A company specializing in Healthcare & Medical is looking for a Business Development Manager.

USA Chemical Company – based company that uses technical expertise and knowledge to improve their customers’ products and profitability. It is also a company that is results-driven and passionate about our customers and our people, ethical in our business practices and experts in our markets. With more than 10 staffs in China, office location in Suzhou. The job need work in Suzhou for 1st year and later able to be home base.


Your new role
  • Proactively manage/develop accounts and channel partners in polymer and polymer additives market.
  • Customer oriented approach by understanding needs, solving problems, offering solutions, and building rapport with key decision makers at all levels of the organization
  • Support Regional Manager to develop a growth strategy on strategic product lines and applications.
  • Initiate and manage technical conferences/meetings with key customer or important industrial contacts, follow up with samples, testing and results for both internal and external technical contacts.
  • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
  • Support regulatory documents follow ups for the customers/distributors in the region
  • Seek opportunities to build industry knowledge, increase technical competency, and refine commercial skills through awareness of market trends, technology advancements, regulatory changes, competitive landscape, and business best practices.
  • Be collaborative and ready to work as a team cross functionally and globally to respond to customer needs and strengthen relationships with multi-national customers.
  • Develop proficiency to use sales tools (CRM, Teams, SAP analytics, Sharepoint) to manage business.


What you’ll need to succeed
  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive, researcher in polymer/polymer additive (prefer 5-10 years experience).
  • Proven sales track record with relevant customer base (Polymer and Polymer additives).
  • Time management and planning skills.
  • Good English skill.
  • Willing to travel up to 50% of time.
  • Education background in polymer.
