Your new role
- Identify new business opportunities aligning with automotive strategic directions.
- Design solution to secure a successful incubator for sales growth in the target segment/application:
- Support solution implementation to secure successful transfer to the commercial process
- Propose new Product Development projects under stage-gate process
- Propose collaborations with Academia, Consulting Consortia or Entrepreneurial free agents
- Identify and propose strategic partnership ideas (JDA, JV, acquisitions…)
- Lead public event and customer event with well project managing and clear expected output
- Strengthen market position/branding influence via co-work with Marcom
What you'll need to succeed
- A Bachelor’s degree in Polymers, Polymer Engineering, Polymer Processing or Materials Science is preferred; MS or PhD is a plus. An MBA is also a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of successful Business Development experience required in the chemical industry and/or the automotive industry
- Proven experience working through matrix organisation, pushing global initiatives into the marketplace
- Excellent personal and interpersonal working skills
- Good presentation and communication skills
- Excellent oral and written communication in English
- Good in MS Office, Salesforce, LinkedIn, web-site navigation, and CRM software
- Travel 30% of the time
