Your New Role:
The Quality Manager leads whole Quality team for the functions of allocation. To support and cultivate Quality Culture of First-Time Quality and Zero Defects and lean principles by assuring and controlling Quality with systems, tools to meet and exceed customer expectation, establish and maintain Quality Management System to ensure all aspects managed in line with relevant guidance and improve product and service quality by leading quality team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Being responsible for improving internal quality processes and procedures to improve overall customer satisfaction, implementing the global and local quality strategy and follow up all the actions locally.
- Ensure the product APQP process under control to reduce the risk of mass production stage and achieve the quality goals pre-determined.
- Manage process quality, responsible for the corrective and preventive actions in the plant.
- Monitoring internal and external audit process, ensure quality management Systems is aligned.
- To meet suppliers and quality representatives to make certain that the company’s standards are aligned with current standards.
- Focusing on customers’ quality requirement. Establish, drive and optimize processes to provide customers with solutions or services.
- To be responsible for the final evaluation and decision regarding any enquires about inferior product or customer complaint regarding any of the company’s products or services.
- To support and guide all members of the quality department on how to define suitable corrective and preventive actions with the use of appropriate problem-solving methods.
- Continues systematic analysis and improvement to strengthen quality management.
- Being responsible for warranty management and drive the continues improvement.
- Being responsible for reporting and review for relevant required Quality Report.
- Ensuring the use of quality data analysis, use of quality tools, and continuous improvement and providing relevant quality training to local teams.
- To perform any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.
What you’ll need to do to success:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor or above
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in automotive industry for quality related works
- Minimum of at least 5 years of experience on managing quality team
- Familiar with IATF16949/VDA6.3/VDA6.5/FMEA/APAP/CP/PPAP/SPC/MSA/8D&QC and other related system, tools and standard
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Communication skills and negotiation skills both in English and Chinese
- High stress resistance
- Lean certification, relevant auditor certifications
- Good ability of problem solving by 8D/7 tools and use variety of resource to solve problem and make decision
- Ability to deal with contingencies
- Leadership Skills
